Bio
Pablo Esquibel was named head coach of Dallas College Mountain View women's soccer team in March 2024.
Esquibel guided Mountain View to a 6-6-2 overall, 4-5-1 Dallas Athletic Conference season in 2025. The Lions finished third in the DAC, and advanced to the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III South District semifinals before falling to eventual national runner-up Dallas College Brookhaven. Stephanie Arreola and Josselin Magana, the DAC Newcomer of the Year, were first team all-conference selections. Mia Serrato was a Second Team All-DAC pick. Arreola received College Sports Communicators Academic All-District recognition.
In his fist season as head coach in 2024, Esquibel coached two players who earned All-DAC honors. Serrato was a First Team All-DAC selection. Forward Laila Limones was a Second Team All-DAC selection.
Esquibel served as an assistant coach with the Lions women's and men's soccer teams from 2018-23. He started with the women's program in 2018, and coached through the COVID shutdown. In 2022, Esquibel began assisting with the Lions men's program until taking over as the women's head coach.
He served as the men's head coach at Dallas Christian for the 2021 spring and fall seasons before returning to Mountain View as an assistant with the men's program. Esquibel also coached club soccer in the North Texas Classic League, and has coached with high school programs.
Esquibel played at Mountain from 2009-10.
He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas at Arlington in kinesiology and exercise science. He and his wife, Lennis, have four children, Samuel, Lizette, Madeline and Janelle.
