Frank Arana was named an assistant coach with Dallas College Mountain View men's soccer prior to the 2025 season.

Arana was on a staff that helped coach the Lions to a 10-6-3 record in 2025, with a trip to the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III South District championship for a second straight year. Mountain View beat Dallas College Cedar Valley 3-1 in the district semifinal. The Lions' 10 wins were the most since collecting 10 victories in 2016. They scored eight goals -- the program's most in seven years -- in a win over Andrew College. Mountain View received nine All-Dallas Athletic Conference honors. 

Arana began coaching with Elite Club National League Regional League in Dallas in 2022. He led the 2024 and 2025 teams to consecutive ECNL-RL playoff appearances and ECNL-RL Finals. His teams were consistently ranked among the top teams in the region.

From 2020-22, he was the head coach of the Allegiance FC in Euless, Texas. His team advanced to the Dallas Cup semifinals, while winning the State Cup championship. His team was ranked in the Top 5 in the nation and No. 1 in the region. 

Arana coached Elite United FC in Garland, Texas from 2016-20.

He has a United States Soccer Federation "B" coaching license.
