Richardson Named DAC Offensive Player of Year, Cook Second Team

DALLAS – Dallas College Mountain View men's basketball's Kaden Richardson was voted the Dallas Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Year.

He also was a First Team All-DAC selection, while Lions teammate Anthony Cook was a Second Team pick.

A freshman guard from Fort Worth, Richardson was the second leading scorer in the DAC at 17.3 points per game. He shot 45.3 percent from the floor, 36.3 percent from the three-point arc and 81.9 percent at the free throw line. He also led the team in steals per game (1.9).

A sophomore swingman from Duncanville, Texas, Cook was the third leading scorer in the conference at 17 points per game. He shot 45.8 percent from the field and 38.8 percent from 3-point range, and led the team in rebounds per game (7.5).
