Lions' Super Smash Bros Duo Cap Seasons in Playoffs

DALLAS – Dallas College Mountain View eSports' Super Smash Brothers Ultimate gamers Bryan Marquez and Jan Marquez both posted winning records in the fall season, while advancing to the National Junior College Athletic Association eSports playoffs.

Jan Marquez, "Sil3nt," went 8-5 to finish seventh in his division of the Super Smash Brothers Ultimate title. Bryan Marquez, "Veebo," went 7-6, finishing eighth.

"We're incredibly proud of our Super Smash Bros Ultimate team for their outstanding performance this season," Mountain View coach Grant Brady said. "As newcomers to the highest level of NJCAAe competition, they both secured playoff spots, showcasing their dedication and skill. We're thrilled about the addition of new players to the team as well. We believe this will further elevate the team's skill ceiling, and propel them to even greater heights in the upcoming season."
